This is an on-site, full-time position (8am-5pm) at our Melbourne location

Pay Rate starts at 18-19/HR

Responsibilities
- Serve as a vital liaison between patients, providers, and healthcare professionals, ensuring smooth and compassionate communication at every step
- Report directly to the Respiratory Supervisor and maintain open, effective communication with both customers and team members
- Manage the intake process, verify complete documentation, and support billing procedures for accurate, timely service delivery
- Handle telephone orders for CPAP equipment, supplies, and enteral services with efficiency and professionalism
- Prepare and organize monthly and new setup orders to keep operations running seamlessly
- Communicate daily with delivery drivers to confirm the completion of on-call requests
- Collaborate with the billing department to resolve any outstanding issues quickly and accurately
- Support sales and other internal teams by providing respiratory expertise and insight
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory guidelines and accreditation standards
- Educate patients and providers on equipment use and care
- Be responsible for accurate documentation of all communication within Brightree
- Take ownership of fiscal responsibility for all delivery tickets
- Maintain up to date knowledge of all related medical and insurance information
- Other duties as assigned which may include uncompensated attendance at functions during non-business hours
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Medical background preferred
- Prior experience with insurance preferred
- Must be computer literate
- Must maintain a current, valid Florida driver’s license
- Knowledge of funding resources as it relates to your department, such as, Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance, V.A.
- Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time
- Must have tb QuantiFERON test or chest x-ray
- Must be able to obtain and keep a level 2 background screening clearance
