This is an on-site, full-time position (8am-5pm) at our Melbourne location

Pay Rate starts at 18-19/HR

Responsibilities

  1. Serve as a vital liaison between patients, providers, and healthcare professionals, ensuring smooth and compassionate communication at every step
  2. Report directly to the Respiratory Supervisor and maintain open, effective communication with both customers and team members
  3. Manage the intake process, verify complete documentation, and support billing procedures for accurate, timely service delivery
  4. Handle telephone orders for CPAP equipment, supplies, and enteral services with efficiency and professionalism
  5. Prepare and organize monthly and new setup orders to keep operations running seamlessly
  6. Communicate daily with delivery drivers to confirm the completion of on-call requests
  7. Collaborate with the billing department to resolve any outstanding issues quickly and accurately
  8. Support sales and other internal teams by providing respiratory expertise and insight
  9. Maintain compliance with all regulatory guidelines and accreditation standards
  10. Educate patients and providers on equipment use and care
  11. Be responsible for accurate documentation of all communication within Brightree
  12. Take ownership of fiscal responsibility for all delivery tickets
  13. Maintain up to date knowledge of all related medical and insurance information
  14. Other duties as assigned which may include uncompensated attendance at functions during non-business hours

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Medical background preferred
  • Prior experience with insurance preferred
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must maintain a current, valid Florida driver’s license
  • Knowledge of funding resources as it relates to your department, such as, Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance, V.A.
  • Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time
  • Must have tb QuantiFERON test or chest x-ray
  • Must be able to obtain and keep a level 2 background screening clearance
