This is a full-time, on-site position at the Melbourne location, 141 East Hibiscus Blvd., Melbourne FL 32901- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
EDUCATION
-HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA
-MUST HAVE TWO YEARS OR MORE OF EQUIPMENT SERVICE/REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE
-EXPERIENCE WITH MEDICAL EQUIPMENT VERY HELPFUL
QUALIFICATIONS
1. MUST COMMUNICATE AND WORK WELL WITH YOUR FELLOW EMPLOYEES, PATIENTS, CUSTOMERS AND OTHER HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS.
2. KNOWLEDGEABLE OF EQUIPMENT AND PRODUCT LINE AND WILLINGNESS TO LEARN NEW TECHNOLOGIES.
3. MAINTAIN CONFIDENTIALITY OF PATIENT FILES.
4. PARTICIPATE IN MONTHLY STAFF MEETINGS AND IN-SERVICES.
5. MAINTAIN A PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE AND ATTITUDE.
6. MUST BE COMPUTER LITERATE.
7. MUST HAVE GOOD TELEPHONE SKILLS.
8. MUST BE DETAILED ORIENTED.
9. MUST BE ABLE TO PRIORITIZE VARIOUS TASKS.
10. MUST MAINTAIN A CURRENT VALID FLORIDA DRIVERS LICENSE.
11. MUST BE ABLE TO STAND/SIT FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME.
12. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN A FAST-PACED HIGH ENERGY ENVIRONMENT.
13. MUST RECEIVE A TB CHEST XRAY OR QUANTIFERON BLOOD TEST.
14. MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 50 POUNDS WITHOUT MEDICAL RESTRICTION.
15. MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN AND KEEP A LEVEL 2 BACKGROUND SCREENING CLEARANCE
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. THE REHAB SERVICE/REPAIR TECHNICIAN IS RESPONSIBLE TO THE SALES AND DRIVER MANAGER.
2. MUST BE ABLE TO ASSEMBLE, MAINTAIN AND REPAIR HOME MEDICAL EQUIPMENT
3. KEEP MAINTENANCE RECORDS ON EQUIPMENT SERVICE/REPAIR ACCORDING TO MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATIONS.
4. MUST BE WILLING TO EXPAND YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR.
5. MAINTAIN INVENTORY CONTROL OF EQUIPMENT PARTS AND ORDER SUPPLIES AS NEEDED.
6. KEEP REHAB STAGING AND STORAGE AREA CLEAN AND ORDERLY.
7. ON A DAILY BASIS REVIEW AND PERFORM THE TECHNICIAN DUTIES LIST AS PREPARED BY REHAB DEPARTMENT.
8. OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED WHICH MAY INCLUDE UNCOMPENSATED ATTENDANCE AT FUNCTIONS DURING NON-BUSINESS HOURS.
